Hello my fellow hackers. So today we are learning how to hack wifi using Reaver.
Reaver is a inbuilt tool in kali Linux used for wifi hacking.
It first cracks the pin by brute force. Then hacks the wifi password. So lets start.
STEP 1: Turn on the wifi adapter to monitor mode. To do this type.
airmon-ng start WLAN0
Here, WLAN0 is my adapter name.
STEP 2: Then to see the available wifi AP .type
airodump-ng mon0
STEP 3: Copy the bssid of the wifi you want to hack.
STEP 4: Type
Reaver -i mon0 -b <bssid> -vv
Dont put < > in bssid
Now wait it may take time according to internet speed.
